Hello fellow crafters! hope you have enjoyed your weekend and the weather has been kind to you ?
I decided to try my hand at distressing today .... my friend bought me a fab little tool yesterday so just had to give it a try, it's the first time I've actually made a card and distressed it so it's not that good really, but I'm sure I'll get better with more practice. I've made my card for entry into the Crafts and Me challenge #5 which is of course 'distressing' .................. I'm also entering my card in the Magnolia Down Under challenge #48 .... Flowers
first of all I used my little tool along the edges of the main card then inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink, then repeated the same on the small panel of Coredinations card and dp.. this time using Bundled sage, I did the same again on the Nestie and used the same 2 colour inks on the flowers.
Products used...
Image... Magnolia ~ Longing Tilda
Papers/card... Paper Cellar ~ Victorian Classic & Victorian Burgundy & Coredinations
Medium... ProMarkers & Distress Inks
Flowers... Wild Orchid & Prima
Other... Antique corners ~ Abakhan Fabrics
A close up of my so called distressing, lol
Thank you for popping by again today I do appreciate your visits :)
