Something for Christmas

Good evening everyone, hope you are all well? My upload for tonight is a hanging Christmas decoration that I started yesterday and finished off today, it actually started it's life off as a Springy style card but was far to heavy so decided to go for a Easel card instead but at the last minute changed my mind and ended up with my decoration. I had real fun making this ...especially the Poinsettias.



I had some wax rub-ons last week and boy do I luv em... I just can't stop playing with them,lol they are gorgeous,easy to use and the effect they leave is stunning. On my Poinsettias I used 3 different metallic colours then gave them a slight misting with Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle in gold, I also ran a swirl through my CB to emboss it and waxed that up too :D Oooohhh I can't wait for the next project to use them on,lol I've been searching for challenges to enter it into and found the following 3 ..... Cute card Thursday #138 ~ 'Anything Goes' ... ABC ~ 'H for Holidays' & 'Crazy 4 Challenges' ~ Christmas.

    Hi Lizzy. This is really beautiful. Haven't came across waxes but the effect you have achieved with the poinsettas is gorgeous. You have a lovely Christmas decoration to be proud of. Donna

    Hi Lizzy, your wall hanger looks great!! Love the sparkle on it! I've never seen wax rub ons, I don't think they sell the over here (in Holland).

    WOWZERSSSSS.....lady this is bloody gorgeous (ppsssttt dont know if I can say that but ssshhh I wont tell if you dont) I brought some of them waxy things myself last week they arrived on Saturday. This is totally awesome I love it & I would have it hanging somewhere where every1 could see it & show it off. Its amazing hunni.
